Project Funding Committee

The Project Funding Committee
designates and applies funds for programs and equipment to enhance the
overall education of the children of Monmouth Beach School. On an annual basis, the Foundation funds a
teacher's grant program. Last year,
several teachers again applied for the grants, and on February l, the
Education Foundation's "Prize Patrol" surprised some of them with
their grant requests: ·
Mrs. Murray was granted
graph boards for her math programs so that each student could have their own
large erasable board to make it easier to share lessons with their
classmates. ·
Mrs. Santry also
received geo boards and communicators for her math program. This grant was underwritten
by the Monmouth Beach Business Association. ·
Mrs. Hall had requested
a Native American cultural enrichment program to help bring her lessons on
Native American Art to life. The Red Hawk Dance Troupe will come to Monmouth
Beach and present a music program and dance demonstration to our students in
the spring, and this will be coordinated with the annual student art show. ·
Mr. Trager had his
request fulfilled, which caused great excitement among the students. The Foundation gave the music program 12
guitars! Mr. Frankenfield has
expressed his appreciation for the Education Foundation for all of its
contributions and efforts, and continues to come up with innovative and
exciting ideas to enhance our children’s educational experience keep us on the
forefront of educational tools and resources. For questions regarding our
