The Enrichment Program Committee selects and implements special and after school programs to enhance the overall education of the children of Monmouth Beach School. On a regular basis, the Committee will scout volunteers with special skills willing to devote time and effort to these programs as instructors. Programs such as the Poetry Club, Fish Club, French Club and our ongoing Griffin Street Playhouse have proved very popular among the students and parents alike.

The Committee is on a continuous search for new ideas and volunteers to continue this very successful addition to the Monmouth Beach School experience.

Current After School Programs

� Every Tuesday, beginning May 3^rd, The Poetry Club will resume. Mr. Milnes is an accomplished, published poet who very generously donates his time. The group will meet from 2:45pm � 3:30pm and all grades are welcome. By the end of the program, the children will have created their own poetry journal to take home.

� Every Thursday, beginning May 5^th, The Fish Club, under the instruction of Joe Nardone will meet from 2:45pm � 4:00pm. This program is open to 3^rd through 8^th graders.

� The Griffin Street Playhouse, under the direction of Deborah Lappin, meets on Tuesdays, 2:45 pm � 4:00pm, and has been in full swing since the winter. The group is working towards a production in May.
